Bennachie Circular The Gordon Way

Long walk along the Gordon Way from B 992 to Bennachie visitors centre Wee climb at the start but well worth for the views! 7.5mls. Short walk along the northern foothills of Bennachie level route no climbing 4 mls

Long walk: Milltimber Brae to Duthie Park along the old Deeside line. Flat terrain, lovely river views .

Short Walk: Cults to Duthie Park along same route 3 mls

Arbroath to Auchmithie Circular

Long walk. From Arbroath to Auchmithie along the coastal path to Auchmithie and back. Lovely seascapes, slightly undulating 6 miles. Short walk in Nature reserve. 3mls Fish and chips at Inverbervie on the way home!!

Clachnaben Hill

Start from Glen Dye, gentle climb followed by downhill slope through the woods until we climb the staircase (fairly steep, not for the faint hearted) up to the tor. Returning by the same route 6mls. Short walk, same route omitting the climb. 3 mls

Long walk: Circular walk round Loch Muick. Path mostly level, one long stretch a bit rough underfoot. 8mls
