Collieston and Sands of Forvie LM38
Starting from the car park we walk round the harbour and up the hill,
along the clifftop coastal path into the Forvie Nature Reserve following the
path to Hackley Bay and Rock End and old Forvie Church. Our return takes us
past Sand Loch and a visit to Forvie Nature Centre. Long walk 6 miles. Short
walk available 3-4 miles
Wednesday October 28th
Kintore Kirkhill Forest LM38 (787165)
Most of the walk is on good paths and
forest tracks, flat with gentle slopes

walk Kintore to Blackburn 3.5miles
Wednesday November 11th
Fettercairn –Fasque
House Policies Circular LM45 (650735)
Walk starts at Fettercairn Square, taking road past distillery (no
stopping!) A right turn followed by another right turn takes us to the entrance
of Fasque House and Grounds. Then
through the policies back to Fettercairn. Flat terrain but maybe a bit muddy in
places. Long walk 5 miles. Short walk available
Wednesday November 25th
Ellon - Achnagatt Railway line LM30 (949306)
The walk is on the Formartine and Buchan railway line. Flat surface,
easy walking. Long walk 7 miles Short walk available 3.5 miles
