Walk starts at Shooting Green car park and follows forest tracks, passing through mature woodland, then descends to the banks of the Dee where we follow the path along by the river.From there we pass by the Blackhall Forest and reach Banchory car park via Auchattie. 7 miles approx.. Short walk available.

An easy climb up the Firmounth road then on the flat then a steep climb (ca 450ft) from the Burn of Skinna into mature pine forest. Then downhill returning along the Water of Tanar. 7 miles. Short walk on the valley floor 3-4 miles.

A circular forest walk climbing gradually on good forest roads with fine views over the surrounding countryside. 5 miles. Short walk as for long walk but omitting final steep ascent to the summit. 3 miles.

Walking first on a quiet country road, then through woods following the Fourden burn from Rothienorman to Fyvie,followed by a circular  tour of the grounds of Fyvie Castle. Approx 7 miles. Short walk 2 miles from Fyvie around the grounds of Fyvie Castle
