Airlie Monument   LM 44-45 (392598)

Start at Cortachy Cemetery, walk alongside River South Esk to Dykehead & then along B 955 to Cortachy Cemetery. A steady climb to Airlie Monument with good views over Glen Clova & Glen Prosen. Return route past memorial to Captain Scott & Edward Wilson.7 miles

Short walk: Dykehead to Cortachy  & return. 4 miles

Wednesday June 8th

Inverbervie- Benholm Gourdon Circular LM  45 (732815)

Leaving Inverbervie a gentle climb up Gourdon Hill, then a gentle descent to Mill of Benholm. Turning east we walk along the Breedies Brae to join the coastal path to Gourdon. Then to Inverbervie. Long walk of 7.5miles.

Short walk: Inverbervie-Gourdon circular/4 miles

Forest of Deer, Mintlaw      OS.30 (957513)

at White Cow Wood car park, cross minor road into Forest of Deer to the Den of Howie & onward to the Observatory. Then Chapel Park Farm to Pitfour Lake, along its shore to the A950 where we join the old railway line & finish at the Happy Plant Centre. 6.5miles

Short Walk: around the lake and back to Happy Plant Centre.
