“Hidden Aberdeen”   
 Walk and talk on life behind the scenes in the city. Meet at Beach Ballroom-on pavement opposite-at 10am. Parking available. 3-4 miles. Broad Hill, St Machar’s, Beach. Return to starting point.

Kemnay Circular LM38 (728161)
From Kemnay we walk to the Bishop’s Palace then to Cottown Wood (short climb) with good views of Bennachie and along the banks of the Don back to Kemnay. Approx 5 miles  Short walk available

Tyrebagger Circular LM38 (850113)
A walk including some of the Tyrebagger Sculpture Trail and Elrick and Brimmond Hills. Both are moderately steep but with extensive views over the Deeside and Donside hills. Long walk approx 6.5 miles. Short walk circular trail    Approx 3.5mles

Methlick to Braes of Gight    LM30 (858372)
Circular walk through the Braes of Ythan along the south bank of the River Ythan, onwards to the ruins of Gight Castle (home of Lord Byron’s mother) and back to Methlick. A round trip of 7 miles

Seven Bridges
LM44 (3359949)Starting from the south Deeside road and walking through the woods to Polhollick bridge over the Dee. Then by the new path along the side of the Dee and the Gairn to the Bridge of Gairn and join the path to Ballater on the old railway route. The long walkers then follow the Lary road, up Glen Gairn, with excellent views of Deeside and return through the woods and fields to Craigendarroch, before rejoining the railway path to Ballater. Long walk 11km Short walk 6.2km
