There is a gentle climb up the old highway to Gourdon Hill and a gentle descent down towards Inverbervie. Start at car park in Kincardine.
Roads, tracks, and path climbing to the Falls. Then down to join Deeside way to
Aboyne.

Circular.
Long Walk: Starting at Aden Park,
south to Stewartfield, northwest to North Windhill, northeast past Aikey Brae
(stone circle) onto and along the old Formartine and Buchan railway line to
finish at the Happy Plant (or vice versa). Based on the Mac Walks No. 154.

Alternative Long Walk: As above but
leangthe old Formartine and Buchan railway line at Mavisbank and going
through Old Deer and finishing at Aden Park (or vice versa).

Short Walk: Pitfour Lake and
Estate. Starting at the Happy Plant, along the old Formartine and Buchan
railway line, into the estate at South Lodge, round the south of the Lake, up
to Drinnies Wood and return via Chapel Park Farm and Cartlehaugh to finish at
Aden Park (or vice versa).
River Don. Persley walled garden to
Seaton park and return.
Starting from the walled garden in
Persley we’ll make our way along the Don to
Seaton Park,
crossing the Brig o’ Balgownie and returning along the path at the opposite
side of the Don.

A circular local walk around Kincorth Hill, with the option to walk on to
